Descend next to the roots of the great cenote tree and discover how they try to touch the water. As you go down, be surprised by the stalactite formations and the beautiful cave you are entering. Once on the platform, you will discover another world through the crystalline blue water of the cenote.

Access this water mirror by going down 12 meters on a vertical staircase. Its depth ranges from 4 meters to approximately 20 meters. It also enjoys the bicycle route, basic tourist services, bicycle rental, rest areas, camping area, gardens, children's zip line and food service on request (requested before accessing the cenote).

To swim in cenotes bring your swimsuit, a visor or goggles, and life jacket (even if you know how to swim).
To dive in Yucatan it's necessary to have a diving center presence, contact us for more information.
It is advisable to have proper diving certification, carry complete and in good condition equipment, and have a technical guide Dive Master or Full Cave Dive depending on the diving site.
It is advisable to bring biodegradable insect repellent and sunscreen, and water.

The "colectivo" (Shuttle) to Tecoh is taken from 67 St between 50 St & 52 St, Downtown, Merida. In front of Noreste bus station.
Colectivos depart when they have enough people for their route, so don't have a specific schedule, but they use to depart around each hour.

This bus is taken from Noreste bus station, located at 67 St. between 50 St. and 52 St., Downtown, Merida. Once in Chinquila you can rent a Bike to arrive to Campepen Cenote. You can also take a bus to Sabacché town to get the Calcuch Cenote. The return to Merida can be in a bus from Sabaché or Chiquila, or you can get to Tecoh and take a Bus to Merida.
