INFORMATION & RECOMMENDATIONS
Within this city, you can find several Mayan ruins like Kinich Kakmo, the Rabbit, Kabul & Izamatul. Izamal is considered a colonial jewel and is part of the national program "Mexico Magical towns".
Its buildings are yellow and one of the main attractions is the Ex-Convent of San Antonio de Padua, built with Mayan temples' stones, and has the largest atrium in America. Its founder was Fray Diego de Landa who burned the Mayan writings and then tried to re-write them.

Lo pasamos excelente! Nos gustó todo: la manera de recibirnos, los momentos de meditación, la comida excelente, la conversación y EL CENOTE - es lo más bonito que he visto.
