INFORMATION & RECOMMENDATIONS
Within this city, you can find several Mayan ruins like Kinich Kakmo, the Rabbit, Kabul & Izamatul. Izamal is considered a colonial jewel and is part of the national program "Mexico Magical towns".
Its buildings are yellow and one of the main attractions is the Ex-Convent of San Antonio de Padua, built with Mayan temples' stones, and has the largest atrium in America. Its founder was Fray Diego de Landa who burned the Mayan writings and then tried to re-write them.

"Wanderlum helped us organize a great camping trip in Tukax. They tailored the trip to fit our family, with zip lines and ruins nearby that our kids loved. We appreciated that they handled the coordination in English and took the time to make sure everything, including vegetarian food for my husband, was just right!"
"Wanderlum made sightseeing so easy. Rosbel and Gerardo provided itineraries that matched our interests and they know the best times to arrive and leave the attractions. They made the sights and the drives so enjoyable for us because of their extensive knowledge and their warm personalities."
